A new Parental Rights in Special Education (PRISE) document has been developed. The document includes the new requirements of the Individuals with Disabilities in Education Act (IDEA 97) and replaces all previous versions. Look for the green and black cover (unless it's a reproduction). It is also available on the State Department of Education web site at http://www.state.nj.us/education To access the PRISE document, type the key word PRISE in the space under the hading Search For, click on Search, click on Parental Rights in Special Education.
